I am so excited for my readers to get their hands on a copy of my latest story because I have loved writing about the characters in this one. I think Louisa will always have a special place in my heart. She’s dealing with a lot and yet still manages to find the humour in life. Plus we share a love of biscuits so I know we’d be firm friends.
When it came to the music this was, in a lot of ways, an easy playlist to put together. There are quite a few poignant moments but also crazy funny ones too and I hope the playlist reflects that.
There’s also a couple of my all time favourite songs on the list that just seemed to fit this character and book. They are Torn by Natalie Imbruglia because I think we all have points in our lives where we feel that way. And Sitting Down Here by Lene Marlin which is one of those songs that has you singing along and yet the words are really quite sad.
